MERIA workshop in Denmark

Summary

In Denmark we welcomed 33 high school teachers from all over the country to the first of two MERIA workshop days at Odense Katedralskole on Wednesday the 30thJanuary 2019.

In this first workshop the program included an introduction to inquiry based teaching as interpreted in the MERIA project. There was a series of exercises and a lecture by Britta Eyrich Jessen from the University of Copenhagen, who also participated in the working group of the project. At the end of this first workshop the participants were given a task for the next workshop to test some of the scenarios developed in MERIA and to come up with new ideas for scenarios.

The second day of the workshop will also be held at Odense Katedralskole on Wednesday, 10thApril2019, when we will continue working on how to develop new scenarios and RME perspectives and finally look at how the Danish curriculum is covered by MERIA.
